Inventory pool

Inventory assumes a number of products in stock, but really I'm making these items to order and I have physical space for a certain amount of product. I have the ability to make (for instance) 10 dozen bagels whether they are all one flavor or a combination of all the choices. If I sell more of one flavor, I have less "inventory" of the others, I need all items to pull from one "inventory" pool.

I believe you could accomplish this by making “bagels” a single item with different flavor options rather than different items.

Arrowhead Acres I appreciate that suggestion and thank you for your help. However, I find that to be more of a workaround than a solution. I want to highlight my specialty bagels as separate menu items rather than have them hidden as a "topping" or "flavor" under a generic "bagels" category. I have seen a similar post from a fellow microbaker suggesting this feature for selling Sourdough Bread separately from Chocolate Sourdough Bread because they sell better as separate items. The menu is a marketing tool as much as a communication tool.
