I would love it if I could have the option to post a notice to the storefront. I have many customers that aren't on social media and for times when I'm on vacation and/or my oven is down - it would be great to be able to post a notice to let customers know why my weekly menu isn't available. :)

Add a “Vacation Mode” that allows sellers to display a customizable message on their storefront. Kind of similar to Etsy. (e.g., “I’m taking a short break but I’ll be back on July 10!”) instead of simply appearing closed.

Please create a simplified event where we can announce that our shop will closed, and the dates. That way, if someone comes to our page, they know why there is no option to order rather than there just being nothing available.

It would be so great to have a simple toggle feature that allows bakers to mark their shop as temporarily closed for rest periods, vacations, etc.
What Customers See:
A banner or pop up on the bakery’s Hotplate page that says something like:
“The Green Door on Fern Bakery is taking a short break
Bob will be back in the kitchen soon with fresh bakes! Check back in a few weeks.”
Why It Matters:
• Keeps customers informed without confusion or missed orders
• Preserves SEO and store visibility while the baker rests
• Lets bakers plan breaks guilt free without scrambling to remove listings
• Encourages repeat customers to return when the shop reopens
Optional Add Ons:
• “Notify me when they’re back” email sign up
• Countdown timer or return date
• Customizable message and photo

This would be helpful in the winter when we have to close for an undetermined amount of time due to snow. Add a automated text that goes out when you untoggle thw on break feature to let folks know we ha e reopened and that would be ideal.
