Send a reminder to customers when drop is about to end

I have so many customers that message me saying they forgot to order before the deadline and I have to manually input their orders. A text reminder could help eliminate this issue. Manually inputting the order manually means I also have to offer another payment method and keep up with who has paid.

This is an absolute must for us and a no-brainer feature. The lack of this feature has us considering alternate solutions to Hotplate and that's a bummer.

Could we get the option to have an auto reminder that pre-orders for a specific event are going to close? Currently, I manually send one to all customers the morning that the pre-order window for the event is going to close, but it would be nice to automate that. Even better if it can exclude the customers that have already placed their order for that event.

I love this idea, and would add that the reminder be sent only to customers who have not placed an order for that drop. I have customers who would hate to get the extra text if they have placed an order, or who would get confused thinking their order didn’t get through. Also, if reminders were only sent out if you have inventory left. It would be a bummer to get the text, go to the shop, and find out everything is sold out.

Yes, that reminder should be maybe 24 or so hours before close. That way there's time to make an order and not just enough time to taunt the customer. ;)

This would be super cool to have, maybe as an option to click similar to " add gift card to menu" or "show inventory on storefront". We have so many customers relying on us to manually send out a text message that ordering will be closing on specific dates/time. Thanks for your consideration.
